Maxim Caldera

Maxim has been involved with the Alcohol Trade since 1988.

  • He has travelled extensively and attended many conferences, visited producers as well as buyers worldwide.
  • Sound experience with Export Documentation and Banking Procedures.
  • Shipping and packaging of ISO Drums and bulk shipments are part of his experience and freight forwarding.

 

Ken Douglass

Ken Douglass

Ken has nearly forty years experience in the sugar and ethanol industries. This experience has been gained in a life time career with the CSR Limited company in which he spent nearly thirty years working in the ethanol industry. He retired from CSR Limited when the company closed down its Pyrmont operations in 1997. This experience includes the following.

  • Trained as an Industrial Chemist with the company and completed a Chemistry Certificate at the Sydney Technical College.
  • Worked in a sugar refinery as an analytical chemist and Shift Supervisor.
  • Worked in industrial ethanol distilleries at Pyrmont, Sydney as a chemist and as a chemist and Production Superintendent at Yarraville, Melbourne.

Worked within the CSR Distilleries, Head Office group where his duties included:

  • Responsibility for logistics and supply of raw materials including molasses, prior to cessation of fermentation at Pyrmont and Yarraville distilleries, and then supply of raw and refined ethanol supplies to the southern distilleries from Sarina Distillery, Mackay North Queensland and other sources.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance and logistics of bulk overseas ethanol markets including Japan, Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
  • Assisted with the start up and commissioning of the CSR Limited, Sarina Distillery continuous fermentation ethanol plant.
  • Work on the design and planning for a major ethanol distillery on the Ord River Scheme in north Western Australia.

 

Mr. N. Sridharan

Sourcing ethanol of all grades for international clients for M/S KBK chemical engineering, Pune, for ethanol projects
NIVL LTD,VIETNAM

General Manager, ethanol project 30 klpd,10 million litres per year from November 2004 to April 2007, project completed production obtained and founded the export market for alcohol for the entire production.

Job Profile:
MIDAS GOLDEN DISTILLERIES : GENERAL MANAGER, PROJECT & Coordination 2001 to 2004, Establishment of IMFL plant Capacity 51 lakhs cases per year with a redistillation plant to refine raw alcohol to ENA, captive turbine for power generation, water treatment and waste water treatment plant. Obtained all GOVT clearances.

Project completed successfully and production commenced from June 2003

DSQ BEVERAGE SENIOR GENERAL MANAGER: DISTILLERY PROJECT
Establishment of 60 klpd grain alcohol plant & ddgs unit 48 tonnes per day. All jobs connected with the project- GOVT clearances, bank finance, installation of plant & Machinery.

Project was completed satisfactorily

Job Profile:
M/S BALJI GROUP: PROJECT MANAGER AND GENERAL MANAGER 1992 T0 1995

Projects completed:

  1. Expansion activities to increase production from 18 lakhs cases per year to 36 lakhs per year
  2. Installation of 60 klpd redistillation plants to refine Raw alcohol
  3. Installation of additional blending tanks, water
  4. Treatment, plant, bottling lines and connected GOVT clearances
  5. installation of a 90 klpd distillery plant with 10 bottling lines and other equipments to
    Produce 45 lakhs cases of IMFL per year at Singarayakonda, Andra Pradesh

All activities connected with the project. Unit is working very well to date

Job Profile:

Worked as a chemist, senior chemist, distillery superintendent. Have been in charge of production, environmental management liaison with excise authorities.
